The Town of Troutville is governed by a 7 member Council. Terms are 2 years and staggered. The Mayor is independently elected and serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Town. The Vice Mayor is elected yearly from current council members. Members of the Council must be residents of the Town electoral district.
